Workshop One: Meal Planning Basics

In Workshop One, we learn how to plan a day and a week’s worth of meals, receive a daily and weekly meal planner, and cover some easy meal preparation tips that will add hours to your week.

This workshop is ideal for people who are new to meal planning.

What to expect:

  • Learn the basics of meal planning

  • Be introduced to the idea of recipe banking

  • Receive a daily and weekly healthy eating planner to support general health and fitness or weight loss

  • Learn a few easy meal preparation tips to make your life easier

Workshop Two: Advanced Meal Planning

In Workshop Two, we learn the best time of day to have certain foods, create an individual list of food staples, and learn how to incorporate easy gut care practices into your day.

This workshop is ideal for people who have completed Workshop One; or those who are experienced in meal planning and want to refine their skills.

What to expect:

  • Learn ideal food timing to support your body’s natural rhythms

  • Create a list of staple ingredients that work for you

  • Learn some easy gut care practices to include in your daily meals

Workshop Three: Intuitive Eating

In Workshop Three, we integrate all that we have learned in Workshops One and Two to learn how you can introduce more flexibility into your shopping and meal planning, and reduce food waste.

This workshop is ideal for people who have completed Workshop Two; or those who are experienced in meal planning and want to have more flexibility in what they buy and cook.

What to expect:

  • Learn the principles of a balanced meal

  • Calculate your family’s kilogram food requirements for your weekly shop

  • Learn how to prepare meals to match what you have on hand

  • Understand what it means to eat mindfully

Do I walk away with resources to use at home?

Yes, all three workshops provide either handouts or planners that you can take home to use.

Are these workshops interactive?

Yes, these workshops have been designed to get you thinking about, and planning, meals from the get go. After most discussions there will be a practical element, and will include activities ranging from calculating your daily food group requirements to writing daily meal plans. All activities are individual, and I will walk around to assist you individually.

What do I need to bring with me?

You don’t need to bring anything with you. I will provide all handouts, pens and paper.
